Oval mirror on an 18th century frame

Stunning and rare oval frame carved with flowers, florets, shells and diamond background, trimmed with a new modern oval mirror. The work and assembly of the frame (assembly, vertical traces on each side) is typical of the eighteenth century, see before (regency period). This one is made of wood. It is a very nice work of carving different sets safe on each side. Was it golden in the old days It is a regionalist work can be lyonnais... Over time, it has undergone restorations mainly on one side and has some small shortcomings but normal given its age. (see the many photos) It is a very nice size and will undoubtedly highlight a piece of your interior.
