Dining table 'Lotus' by Dyrlund

This 'Lotus' flip-flap dining table was designed and produced by Dyrlund in Denmark in the 1960s. It is a versatile piece that can be used as a round table for 4 people or extended with 4 additional leaves that open like a lotus flower, accommodating up to 8 guests. The beautiful rosewood top had lost its original colour due to the sun, so we sanded it down to restore its hue and stunning grain details. A rare quality table with brass hinges allowing for a perfectly functional folding mechanism. The leaves are easily stored with a simple lift and push. There are some signs of use on the skirts, otherwise in very good condition. Manufacturer's label present under the table.
