Wooden pre-war box with metal handle

Here is a very nice wooden crate that has been sleeping in an attic for 50 years and dates from the interwar period. In pretty light wood, as evidenced by the photos of its interior left in the raw state and protected from dust, it was tinged with a warm color on the outside. A nice and simple handle is placed on top. It should be noted that it bears traces of its age: one of the metal angles is raised, and its lid is partially cracked, but it remains functional and solid!
