Large turned monoxyle olive wood bowl, 1950s-1970s.

Beautiful large vintage bowl made from solid olive wood, turned from a single piece of wood, monoxyle, circa 1950-1970. Beautiful craftsmanship with generous proportions, featuring a superb natural grain with shades of blonde, honey, and dark brown. Unvarnished, nourished wood, oiled, with areas that are naturally more or less satin. A piece that is both rustic and brutalist, ideal as a fruit bowl, centrepiece, or simple decorative object. 27cm long, 24cm wide, and 10-10.5cm high. In overall good condition with a patina of use, there are a few light marks from time as well as a subtle natural crack in the wood on one side, stable and without impact on its sturdiness. Approximately 1.5kg.
