Sliding wardrobe door designed by Charlotte Perriand for the rooms of the Hôtel des Trois Arcs, in Les Arcs 1600, around 1969. Made of solid pine, it consists of a succession of vertical slats that rhythm the surface and highlight the wood's grain. The handle, cut directly from the panel, aligns with the pursuit of simplicity and functionality characteristic of the designs by Charlotte Perriand for the resort. Conceived as an inseparable element of the interior architecture, this door reflects Charlotte Perriand's attention to every detail of the integrated furniture, where construction, use, and material contribute to a cohesive whole. Provenance: Hôtel des Trois Arcs, Les Arcs 1600. Bibliography: Jacques Barsac, Charlotte Perriand, The Complete Works, vol. 4 (1968-1999), Éditions Norma, pp. 130-132.
