Robert Morin. The Quays of Notre-Dame de Paris. Oil on canvas. Signed and dated 1966 in the bottom right in red. In good condition for its age, exceptional vintage patina. Painting exhibited at the 26th artistic salon of Bois-Colombes in 1967. Label from the salon on the back indicating Mr. Robert Louis MORIN exhibiting with a title for the work: Banks of the Seine in Paris. Superb view of the Seine in Paris with a barge on one side and the cathedral on the other, Parisian shops on the right and a true presence in the centre with the trees, which seem to be the main subject of this work that could be described as a portrait of trees. Personification or tribute to these beautiful Parisian trees so often forgotten, it's up to you to decide. Dimensions: 59 X 49 X 2cm.
