Pair of Legras vases — yellow marbled glass, enamelled Art Deco decoration,

Pair of vases signed Legras, glassworks of Saint-Denis, Art Deco period (circa 1920-1930). Marbled yellow blown glass, with orange and grey hues obtained by incorporating coloured powders at high temperature. Hand-painted black enamel decoration: geometric frieze at the neck and stylised vines cascading down the body. Tall baluster shape on a disc foot, neck moulded with a double bulge highlighted by black threads. Signature "Leg" in black enamel under each base. Dimensions — H. 33 cm × Ø 10 cm at the bulge (per vase) Condition — Very good original condition. No chips or cracks at the neck or bases, a rare condition for these often-damaged moulded necks. Intact black enamel, with no notable wear. Matched pairs are becoming rare: the majority of Legras pieces circulate individually and in small formats. A beautiful symmetrical effect on a fireplace, console, or sideboard. The bright yellow works well in contemporary interiors as well as in period decor.
