Sven bertil landelius, born in 1912 in malmö, died in 1985 in kristianstad, was a swedish painter and graphic artist. Bertil landelius focused early on becoming an artist. After graduating from high school in 1930, he continued his artistic studies in copenhagen and at the scanian school of painting in malmö. In 1931–1935 he attended the college of art in stockholm and graduated as a drawing teacher. However, in 1931 he made his debut in the great autumn salon of the skåne art association in malmö, where he would return for many years. From the spring of 1934, he also participated in several salons of the swedish association of general art in stockholm. He had his first individual exhibition in 1934 in lund at artists' group aura, to which he was elected a member in 1937. His art was first known in kristianstad in connection with a large exhibition in kristianstad in 1939. In addition to participating in several collective exhibitions, landelius then exhibited at various premises in kristianstad in 1951, 1954, 1958 and 1963.
