Beech umbrella stand imitating bamboo from the 1930s. France. Stained beech umbrella stand, turned "faux bamboo", typical of the enthusiasm for exoticism that surged in the 1920s-30s. The top ring serves as a handle and crowns four fluted supports joined by a round base. At the bottom, a round brass basin collects water — a practical and elegant detail. The small ball feet ensure stability and protect the floor. Beautiful warm patina, uniform signs of age. A decorative and functional piece, in the style of Parisian workshops from the interwar period.
