A set of two beautiful art deco armchairs designed by the famous architect and designer jindrich halabala in the 1930s. This iconic model - h 269 - is the perfect example of sophisticated, streamlined lounge chairs where the armrests and legs are formed of one continous curve made of solid bent wood (beech). This sought after h 269 armchairs have become very rare due to their extreme popularity. The armchairs underwent full, professional restoration using traditional techniques and materials. The solid wood armrests have been hand polished and lacquered to a silky finish. They have been reupholstered with a high-end designer fabric by the iconic morris & co. In a refined duck egg blue colour.
