Pure Space Age! An original vintage arc lamp, made in Germany in the early 1970s. The lamp stands out thanks to its iconic mid-century design and is in a beautiful, ready-to-use condition. The lampshade can be swivelled freely, and its height and projection can be adjusted by extending or retracting the upper, thinner arch, before being secured using the round locking screw. The entire arch can also be swivelled. The two square arches and the base cover are made of brushed aluminium, the shade of acrylic glass, and the rosette-shaped crown of the shade of chrome-plated metal. It is fitted with an E27 socket, which is operated by a foot switch. The lamp is in very good original condition with slight signs of wear on the base; the shade and arch are in almost immaculate condition and the locking screw works perfectly. The lamp has been checked by an electrician to ensure it is in working order and safe to use.
