Swiss suspension BAG Turgi, early 20th century. It consists of a large white lacquered aluminium shade (50cm) resting on a central opal glass globe. This layering allows for a soft diffusion of light through the opal while directing the illumination downwards thanks to the aluminium cap. The arm and structure are also lacquered white, in the same shade, creating a coherent and understated ensemble, typical of Swiss functional design. A balanced and efficient light fixture, perfect above a table, in a kitchen, or a workspace.
