Pair of "interlocking" lounge chairs by Joe Colombo for Kartell

A pair of "interlocking" lounge chairs by joe colombo for kartell, italy, made in the middle of the century. Joe colombo's iconic 4801 armchair was designed in 1963/1964. A modern chair with striking visual appeal, designed by the master of italian design of the space age. A limited number of 4801 wooden chairs were produced in the 1960s, When the technologies did not exist to produce joe colombo's design using kartell's material of choice. the original chair was made from a folded pressed plywood seat, backrest and frame, assembled without metal parts or glue, and painted in white, green, orange and black tones of the time. The chairs are in very good original condition with minor wear on the edges. please see the images for more details. Absence of photo of the marking.
