A magnificent and iconic Cité chair designed by Jean Prouvé and reissued by Vitra as part of the official Prouvé Collection (introduced in 2002). This example was produced in 2012 and remains in excellent condition, close to new. The chair embodies a blend of industrial clarity and refined comfort characteristic of Prouvé, with a sculptural steel frame paired with generous proportions in the seat and backrest. Its relaxed, slightly inclined position and integrated headrest provide exceptional comfort while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
