Large Art Deco oak chest of drawers (renovated)

This large Art Deco chest of drawers in oak dates from the 1940s. Raised on its legs, it offers significant storage capacity without taking up much floor space. Materials: Made from solid oak and oak veneer, this chest of drawers features a beautiful natural grain highlighted by the geometric design of its front. The round metal knobs (original) complement its simple lines. Features: This vintage chest of drawers opens with five large stacked drawers, providing generous storage space. Its front is characterised by horizontal grooves typical of Art Deco furniture from this period. Its vertical lines and unusual proportions allow it to fit easily in a bedroom, hallway, or living area. Renovation: The chest of drawers has been completely hand-sanded to remove its old varnish while preserving its timeworn patina. It was then thoroughly washed and protected with a colourless wax.
