Vintage Scandinavian Falcon lounge chair by Sigurd Ressel, 1970.

An iconic Falcon lounge chair designed by Sigurd Resell for Vatne Møbler, Norway. A timeless Scandinavian design with a laminated curved wood frame, suspended canvas, and generous upholstered leather cushions. The leather has been professionally recoloured/restored in a warm cognac shade and presents beautifully with a soft, even finish. As expected for a vintage chair, there are still slight signs of age and use, adding to its character without detracting from its overall appearance. The suspended canvas is structurally sound and supports the chair well. It shows some areas of discolouration/bleaching due to sun exposure, visible in the photos. The wooden frame remains sturdy with only minor cosmetic wear, including a few small scratches on the feet, consistent with its age. Overall, this is a very attractive, comfortable, and well-preserved Falcon chair, ready for everyday use.
