Berglund studied at skånska målarskolan 1939-1940 and for william nording on öland 1942 as well as watercolor studies at the danish academy of fine arts 1946-1947 and in london and at the académie de la grande chaumière in paris 1947. He exhibited separately in kalmar, malmö, ystad. Ängelholm and kristianstad. He participated in group exhibitions with the swedish general art association, the gothenburg art association and the skåne art association.he participated in the group exhibition the twelvein ystad 1949. His art consists of figures, coastal motifs and landscape paintings in oil, tempera, gouache and watercolor as well as drawings. Berglund is represented at malmö museum.
