Antique compote on foot in Longchamp faience, Regent model, period of Robert Charbonnier, late 19th to early 20th century. The bowl is widely flared and undulating, resting on a tall foot. The decoration of scrolls, shells, and floral motifs unfolds across the entire piece, even on the foot. Dark blue-grey shades stand out against a slightly patinated ivory background. Longchamp stamp with the monogram RC of Robert Charbonnier and Regent mention under the base. There is also a small red marking "G", the function of which is not identified. In beautiful vintage condition. Glossy glaze, with slight traces and irregularities related to time and manufacturing (see photos). Diameter 23 cm, height 12 cm, height of the foot 7 cm, diameter of the base 11 cm. Nearly 140 years old, and this blue-grey on ivory has never seemed so contemporary.
