A distinguished example of Swedish mid-century modernism, the “Amiral” sofa by Eric Merthen for Ire Möbel, Sweden, circa 1960s. Generously upholstered in black leather with deep tufting, sculptural proportions and a beautifully crafted solid-wood frame, it embodies the refined craftsmanship and understated luxury of Scandinavian design.
