ZAOS ST-17 – desk lamp, 1970s An original ZAOS ST-17 desk lamp from the 1970s, featuring the Space Age style characteristic of the era. Made from lacquered metal, in a light blue colour with a white interior to the shade. The semi-circular shade and slender, curved arm give it a very distinctive, futuristic shape. The lamp is preserved in its original vintage condition, with natural signs of wear and the passage of time. It is fitted with an E27 bulb holder and a pull cord switch located beneath the shade. The ST-17 model is now a sought-after example of Polish lighting design from the 1970s – a similar ST-17 model with almost identical dimensions was previously offered on the vintage market: 55 cm in height, 19 cm base and 24 cm shade.
