Wall lamp A5 by Alain Richard for Disderot (C. 1959)

Very rare in this brass and black lacquer version, this double wall light is the work of the great designer Alain Richard, published by the famous French house Disderot in 1959. The two black lacquered spot diffusers are articulated in all directions around a slightly curved brass rod at its end, a signature of the designer! It can be adapted as a table lamp, on a brass or black base, please consult us. The porcelain socket is adjustable in depth within the body of the spot to accommodate all types of bulbs. Length of the spots is 16 cm, diameter 5 cm. Length of the rod is 27 cm and diameter of the base is 8 cm. This wall light, an icon of modernist design, of very high quality, is in perfect condition. The brass has been cleaned without excess to respect the original patina. All in sobriety, it will bring a true touch of authentic design to your decor. Two new spot bulbs are provided, conforming to the original (filament type).
