Description
Ref. 2100 - from the late nineteenth-early twentieth century, this rare ribbed tube vase with enlarged base, hexagonal collar, with green satin background not signed but typical of the french master glassmaker françois-théodore legras (1839-1916) director at only 26 years of the verreries de la plaine saint denis. Form and color well present in the book "legras" of 2002 and 2012 by michel, fouchet and vitrat, named "fontainebleau". Particularity, this vase is unpainted or enamelled. No cracks or shines. Trace of the cane of the polished blower. Beautiful piece for collector or amateur of this glassmaker very appreciated and whose coast continues to rise. All the many photos complete this detailed description. Very neat expedition and followed in relay point when possible.
