Table lamp by carl fagerlund for orrefors glassworks sweden 1960s in translucent and deep red glass. Model number rd 1500. Measures approximately 30 cm in height (37 cm including the original socket). It is 12 X 7 cm in length/width and weighs 2475 grams. It is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or other defects, just natural/light wear. The only thing worth mentioning is that the original on/off button that sits directly on the socket has been broken and glued back together (see last picture) Carl gustaf vilhelm fagerlund, born november 25, 1915 in kalmar, died 2011 in orrefors, was a lighting architect and chief designer at orrefors glassworks. It is signed at the bottom with a glass pen and stamped orrefors rd 1500 at the top. One bulb is included in the purchase (has a standard e26/e27 socket) the shade holder is also included. Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
