Large authentic farmhouse table made of solid French oak.

Superb Solid Oak Farm Table – Honey Patina & Extension Description Magnificent traditional French farm table, handcrafted using ancestral methods. It is a truly remarkable piece of furniture with incredible strength, immense soul, elegance, and character. The table features a stunning antique patina in warm, golden, and honey tones, with elegant tapered legs and a central drawer. To the left of the drawer, a clever false drawer conceals the extension mechanism, adorned with beautiful matching antique metal handles. The table has experienced a purely historical movement of the wood, resulting in a rare crack on the top. Importantly, rather than being simply filled, this crack has been expertly and permanently repaired using a fine oak spline, ensuring perfect solidity and preventing it from cracking again. The table is now fully robust and stable. In my opinion, this small detail tells the beautiful story of the natural resilience of oak and does not detract from its beauty; on the contrary, it enhances its authenticity, unique charm, and exceptional character. Due to this historical detail, the table is offered at an attractive discounted price. Main features: Dimensions: Length 200 cm (extendable to 260 cm) x Width 100 cm x Height 76 cm, very comfortable. Capacity: Comfortably seats 8 people, and up to 10 people with the 60 cm extension. Comfort: Excellent legroom with a height under the apron of 63.5 cm. Finish: A superb hybrid finish that preserves the natural beauty of the wood while providing excellent modern protection against everyday stains.
