Ginkgo lamp DLG Tommaso Barbi in brass metal, 2000s

Maison Lecan presents this 2000s desk lamp made of brass metal, in the spirit of the Ginkgo lamps designed by Tommaso Barbi in the 1970s. Its highlight is the leaf. It measures 52 cm wide, featuring fine raised veins and dotted with small points, with edges that curl like a shell. The bulb is hidden behind it: when lit, the lamp emits a golden halo from the top and sides. The leaf is supported by a fluted stem, fixed to a square base measuring 16 cm on each side. The lamp is in its original condition, including the electrical components, and works very well, with a switch on the cord. The metal shows the usual minor signs of age and use.
