Lounge chair EGG by Arne Jacobsen, by REPUBLIC OF FRITZ HANSEN. Famous armchair designed in 1958 by designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Jacobsen's Egg chair is fully upholstered in KVADRAT TONUS fabric colour 128 (Black). The aluminium base is mounted on a polished satin steel pedestal. The shell is made of polyurethane foam with a fibreglass reinforcement, padded with cold-cured polyurethane foam. The fabric is free from tears, snags, or stains; only the armrests are very slightly polished. Purchased new in 2010 from an official FRITZ HANSEN dealer. Invoice available.
