Bronze Gilt Bouillotte Lamp in Louis XVI Style with Three Lights

Gilded, this Louis XVI style bouillotte lamp is fitted with three lights and a green lampshade. The base traditionally takes the form of a wide dish, which is particularly ornate. Elevated to catch the wax when real candles were still used. Its polished interior narrows onto a crafted element that serves as the base for the start of its oval central part. Above, a double-bulged foot ends at its upper extremity with a hemispherical element. On this element rest the three arms holding candlesticks, as well as a fine rod supporting the lampshade, finished with a decorative ring.
