Pair of English wingback armchairs in solid mahogany dating from the 19th century. These salon chairs feature the typical characteristics of Victorian English style: high backs, generous side wings, finely turned cabriole legs, and decorative gold nailhead trim around the edges. Seat height: 48 cm. Currently upholstered in a burgundy fabric showing natural wear and a patina consistent with age. The solid mahogany construction ensures proven durability. Our workshops offer reupholstery services upon request with a choice of fabric. Condition is good, structure is sound. We offer a selection of our items, most in perfect original condition or restored by our artisan cabinetmakers, upholsterers, and gilders. A selection of items for restoration is also available as we have a large stock. These items can be restored according to your desired finish by our artisans (choice of varnish, waxed furniture, armchairs and chairs with your fabric...).
