Vintage Componibili furniture

Authentic auxiliary storage unit / bedside table Componibili Classic (round version with 2 elements). Created by the famous designer Anna Castelli Ferrieri in 1968 for the Italian publisher Kartell, this piece is a true icon of Space Age design. This is an original edition from the 1970s and not a modern reissue. Authenticity is confirmed by the moulded marking under the base (visible in the photo) which includes the historical mention in lowercase "designer: anna castelli / made in italy" as well as the period serial number 4965-6-7. • Material: Period ABS plastic. • Colour: Original white, which has developed a beautiful even patina in cream/ivory typical of plastics from this era. • Dimensions: Height ~40 cm / Diameter ~32 cm. • Condition: Very good vintage condition for its age. The doors slide perfectly. No cracks, no chips. A few light signs of normal use that add to its charm and prove its history. Ideal in a living room as an end table, in an entrance hall, or as a bedside table in a bedroom.
