Oil on Wood Panel by HANS ÅNGSÄTER. Painting by Hans Ångsäter, born in Hälsingland in 1935. Hans Ångsäter is a painter, lyricist, and entirely self-taught. During an exhibition in Paris, a critic referred to him as the Chagall of the North. Axel Liffner said of Ångsäter's painting: "It is a style of folk song, a figure of Dan Andersson. Sometimes it may resemble a more rustic Arosenius, sometimes a more sentimental X." Frame dimensions: 38x41cm. The last photo shows the translation of the text that is behind the painting.
