Glass butter dish with radiant and faceted decoration – Vintage 1960s-1970s Transparent moulded glass butter dish, consisting of a rectangular tray and a matching lid. Its particularly detailed relief decoration gives it an elegant decorative presence. The top of the lid is adorned with a circular rosette whose rays spread out from a round centre, evoking a sun or a stylised flower. Surrounding this central motif, elongated fan-shaped lines structure the surface. The walls feature a succession of geometric facets, alternating star shapes, diamonds, and pointed reliefs. The lower edge is highlighted by mouldings that frame the whole. The transparent glass captures light and reveals variations in relief depending on the angle of view. This moulding work gives the object both a functional and decorative character, suitable for a retro table as well as a contemporary interior. Intended to present and preserve butter, it can also hold small treats or be repurposed as a decorative container. Features - Two-part butter dish: tray and lid - Transparent moulded glass - Geometric decoration and radiant rosette - Dimensions: 15 × 10 cm - Total height: 7 cm Manufacturer and model unidentified. The style evokes decorative glassware from the mid-20th century, possibly from the 1960s-1970s, without a formally established date.
