French Art Deco Ceiling Light / Lamp Yellow & Gold Clichy Shade Metal Fittings. This striking French Art Deco ceiling light features a bold, large spherical shade crafted from classic yellow Clichy glass. The shade is beautifully accented by a distinctive textured yellow band encircling its midsection, subtly defined by a refined gold highlight that enhances the contrast between the different glass finishes. The warm tones of yellow and gold exude vintage elegance while the silver metal fittings provide a sleek, complementary touch. The light has been wired with a gold twin core flex for ceiling hanging and takes 1 bayonet bulbs B22. Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age. No chips or cracks in the glass. Chrome mount shows slight patina with some pitting, adding to its character. The gold highlights have some very light ware. The metal ceiling fitter has a cut out at one side for a wire so could be re-purposed and used as a stylish table lamp.
