Old small Sadler cream pot in blue-green ceramic with a gold pattern, English milk jug.

This is an old small English ceramic milk jug by Sadler. This little creamer was made by James Sadler in the 1950s. James Sadler and Sons Ltd was a pottery manufacturer founded in 1882. The Sadler milk jug is a beautiful dark green with a gold floral pattern. There is the brand stamp and it is numbered underneath. The colour of the jug is slightly greener than in the photo. It is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips. Some signs of normal wear underneath and on the gilding (see photos). This adds patina and creates the beauty of the item. Dimensions: height: 8.5 cm, length from spout to handle: 9 cm. Weight: 205 g. It is a rare item, difficult to find. This small milk jug is a lovely display piece and makes a perfect gift.
