This large bottle vase is a unique piece of the early 21st century, master glassmaker john a slatcher (acronym jas). Cane-blown glass, slightly bubbled. Ox blood color with inclusions of gold and silver leaf, in very good condition, without ginning or cracks. Signed below and dated 05. Jas craftsman of English origin, came to settle in France in the 1980s. His work is to be compared to the contemporary glassworks of the master glassmakers fievet, guyot, monot, novaro, ... He trained many contemporary glassmakers, including Thibault Lafleuriel.
