Magnificent, very large stoneware jug/pitcher, hand-thrown and signed Lévéjac, from the workshop of Michel Goldstyn, a remarkable contemporary ceramist active since the 1970s. A vintage piece from the late 1990s/early 2000s. The stoneware is glazed with a flamed finish, oxblood red on the upper part, celadon blue on the lower part, with touches of brighter blue around the neck. It has a beautiful, simple, and elegant shape with a rounded spout and a superb, slightly twisted handle at the base, decorated with three raised discs. An impressive size: 31.5 cm high, 16.5 cm maximum diameter at the base, approximately 21 cm deep (including the spout and handle), and 13 cm in diameter at the neck. Excellent condition, nothing to report. Approximately 3.5 kg. Superb decorative piece, a collector's item for discerning ceramic enthusiasts, very fine craftsmanship and remarkable work, this is a rare piece as it comes from a limited artisanal production, unique in its color.
