Aluminium jug by Erik Herløw, 1955

Iconic aluminium jug designed in 1955 by the famous Danish architect and designer Erik Herløw for the Danish manufacturer Kløverblad. With a slender cylindrical shape, this jug stands out for its deliberately minimalist line, interrupted only by a slight asymmetrical wave at the top, forming a discreet spout that is perfectly integrated. The angular and assertive black Bakelite handle creates a sharp contrast with the softness of the aluminium and acts as a true architectural counterweight, almost cantilevered.
