Set of 6 black chairs david rowland model 40/4 edited by howe.structure in chrome steel, no missing skates on all the footings, wear of time on seating according to the chairs but really gives it a nice patina. Seated label and protective skates when stacked on each chair. Very good in general condition. The famous 40/4 chair with contemporary and industrial lines is one of the icons of 20th century design. It is exhibited in museums around the world such as the museum of modern art in new york, the museu de arte moderna in rio de janeiro and the museum of decorative arts in paris. In 1964, the 40/4 chair won the grand prix at the 13th edition of the milan triennial.
