Vintage leather Butterfly chair by G. van der Berg for Montis 1980s

The 'Butterfly' lounge chair, a Dutch design favorite, was designed by Gerard van den Berg for Montis and was first produced in the 1980s. The chair features a blue leather seat suspended from a black aluminum frame. The leather seat cushion is filled with foam and rests on a woven mesh that is attached to the frame. The result is a super comfortable and soft yet sturdy chair, lightweight and easy to move around. The seat and frame are separate pieces and are both easy to transport. Condition: In good vintage condition with minor signs of use appropriate to the age of the item.
