Entrance hall, mahogany coat rack

Antique wall-mounted coat rack in mahogany with a hat shelf and 4 brass hooks, circa 1900-1930. The upper shelf is made up of regularly spaced slats. It allows for the storage of hats, scarves, gloves, or small bags while maintaining an airy structure. It is supported by two side consoles with curved lines, giving the whole piece an elegant silhouette. Below the shelf, a perforated band with four compartments, well-proportioned, adds lightness. The four brass hooks, with curved hooks, are original. Their warm patina complements the wood well. At the back, two brass mounting plates allow for a solid attachment to the wall.
