Large antique Empire-style chandelier — gilded brass & opaline glass

Superb 8-light chandelier in the Empire style, made of bronze/gilded brass with a beautiful warm patina. Each arm rests on a cylindrical shaft adorned with a relief lion mask, connected by a small decorative chain, an emblematic motif of the Empire style. The twisted white opaline glass cups diffuse a soft and even light, creating a chic and refined atmosphere. The central stem is finely turned and ends with a decorative sphere. The whole piece is of very high quality and has a strong visual presence. A characterful, elegant, decorative item that is highly sought after in high-end classic decor.
