Rare cast iron 'Pumpkin' candle holder, designed by Christel & Christer Holmgren for the luxury department store Illums Bilighus in Copenhagen, Denmark, 1960s. The ball-shaped candle holder consists of two parts and can hold both a dining candle and a tealight. Candlelight shines through the organically shaped openings. Very well made from cast iron. Size: 12.5 X 12.5 X 12.5 cm. In good condition with patina and signs of use. See images.
