Old cream jug "Nous deux" in Sarreguemines earthenware.

Charming vintage milk jug / creamer from the famous pottery of Sarreguemines, dating from the mid-20th century. Fluted body in cream white, enhanced on the belly with the tender golden inscription "Us two", ideal for a morning tête-à-tête. Scalloped rim and fine gold leaf borders on the edges, the base and the wavy handle. Impressed mark "Sarreguemines France" under the base. Perfect on a retro breakfast tray, as kitchen decoration, or repurposed as a delightful small vase / soliflore. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips, no cracks or crazing. Beautiful shine of the earthenware. Light patina of use on the gilding and the inner base, attesting to its authenticity.
