Vintage Japanese pottery owl sugar bowl 1970, zoomorphic owl sugar box

This is a cute zoomorphic owl shaped sugar box with a lid. The owl was made by hand in pottery and comes from japan. The owl's eyes are closed because it is taking a little nap. There is a place at the back to place a spoon. This box can also be used as a trinket box to store small objects. It will find its place on a desk, a bedside or a chest of drawers. The box is vintage and dates from the 1970s. It is in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips. Dimensions: height: 8 cm, internal diameter: 7.5 cm. Weight: 220 g a lovely addition to a collection of owls and birds.
