Very beautiful work made in oil on maroufflée canvas (rigid cardboard support lefranc bourgeois) made and signed by robert leboucher (xx°) - see bio attached representing a lively beach with boats. Marine, animated port, representing, according to the favorite themes of this artist, a life of normandy (or brittany). Biography: Robert leboucher, former resident of casa velasquez, french figurative painter specializing in the representations of marines and landscape of brittany, normandy, guyanne and martinique. 1946/49 - first exhibition in oran then in paris, in the provinces and abroad. He participated in the main painting salons in both paris and algiers. 1951 - he obtains the lourmari scholarship. 1953 - a selection of his works is selected by the compagnie air-france for a travelling exhibition throughout europe. 1954 - he receives the grand prix of the city of algiers as well as the first prize of the critics of afn gathered in algiers. 1955 - execution of theater sets for ufolea. 1956 – obtained the state scholarship of casa velasquez in madrid. Exhibition in madrid at the end of the stay. 1961 - return to paris and creation, under the aegis of the poet eric andré fontanel of the "association of friends of robert leboucher" which will protect the artist from the vagaries of the market.
