Vintage glazed ceramic rooster

Large decorative rooster in glazed ceramic, with generous dimensions and a very beautiful presence. The piece features a nuanced glaze in ivory, pearl grey, and beige tones, with slight brown highlights in the reliefs. The head, treated in red and ochre tones, provides a lovely contrast. The plumage is entirely worked in relief, particularly around the wings and tail. The glaze shows a fine natural crazing due to age, perfectly consistent with the piece's vintage. Overall very good condition, with no chips or cracks. At the base, a drip of glaze may give the impression of a chip in some photos. This is not a loss, but simply an irregular accumulation of glaze related to the firing, visible from the original on the piece. Dimensions: 44 cm in height × 37 cm in length.
