Danish sideboard model 37 by Arne Vodder for Sibast Mobler, 1960s

Danish sideboard model 37 designed by Arne Vodder in the 1960s. This iconic model was manufactured by Sibast Møbler and bears both the original Sibast label and the "Danish Furnituremakers Control" quality mark. The sideboard is crafted from beautifully selected rosewood with an exceptionally beautiful, continuous veneer pattern across the entire front. The drum doors open very easily using the subtly integrated handles. Inside, there are adjustable shelves and a drawer section featuring the characteristic organically shaped drawer fronts for which Arne Vodder is known. The furniture is in very beautiful condition with hardly any signs of use. Only the felt on the inside of the drawers shows wear (see photos). A timeless piece of furniture that fits effortlessly into both modern and classic interiors and is one of Arne Vodder's most sought-after designs! Arne Vodder belongs to the second generation of great Danish modernists, alongside designers such as Finn Juhl and Hans J. Wegner.
