Rare small pewter jug with repoussé decoration — signed Chanal — French Art Nouveau, circa 1900–1910. Item signed A.E. Chanal (Amélie & Eugène Chanal), French silversmiths specialised in artistic pewter during the Art Nouveau period, active around 1910. Their pewter works featuring Art Nouveau scroll motifs are among the most sought-after productions from this period in France. Small jug with a globular body, repoussé decoration of interlocking oval patterns characteristic of the Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau style. Twisted handle handcrafted. Angular spout. Beautiful old patina from use. Dimensions: H. 8 cm — Ø 7 cm — L. With handle and spout 12 cm. Material: repoussé pewter, French handcrafted work.
