Beautiful ceramic set made by Albert Thiry for Vallauris in the 1980s, consisting of a large jug and a small covered soup tureen. Both pieces feature the same hand-painted decoration, combining blue flowers, green foliage, and brown touches on a slightly speckled white background. The jug is distinguished by its wide pouring spout and generous handle. The soup tureen has the same decoration with a rounder shape, two small side handles, and a lid topped with a ring. A charming set, where the irregularities of the glaze and the hand-painted decoration give each piece its character. Please note: there is a crack on the handle of the jug. Price for the lot.
