We are delighted to offer this Victorian suite framed in walnut with hand-carved lion paw feet in lion's hair. An example of very high quality and well-made, the cushions are all filled with medium feathers and fully upholstered on both sides, allowing them to be turned over in case of stains. The entire structure is spring-loaded, including the armrests, base, back, and even the front panel, which is rare and a sign of a seat of the highest quality. The upholstery is made from original horsehair. The damask fabric appears to be in very good condition with a very slight, almost invisible discolouration on the side panel of the sofa. The frame is made of walnut with 17th-century lion paw feet, cleaned, waxed, and polished. Sofa dimensions: Height 92 cm, Width 190 cm, Depth 97 cm. Armchair dimensions: Height 92 cm, Width 88 cm, Depth 97 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. This product is available in several sizes, including sofas measuring up to 190 cm in width, 92 cm in height, and 97 cm in depth, as well as armchairs of 88 cm in width with the same height and depth. Original vintage items may show natural patina, cracks, creases, and wear, and regular waxing is recommended. Hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to prolonged direct light to avoid drying and discolouration.
