Superb Louis XV style curved chest of drawers in marquetry.

Magnificent antique chest of drawers in Louis XV style, featuring an elegant curved shape in plan and elevation. It is richly adorned with marquetry in veneer wood forming geometric and floral patterns. This piece of furniture is topped with a beautiful yellow veined marble top (Siena type) with moulded edges. The arched front opens to three drawers fitted with pull handles and lock entries in gilded and chiselled brass. The rounded uprights are also embellished with gilded bronze ornaments.
